Cost: On-site at SHADE Consulting (small group) starting at $530.00 including GST for 3 hours

At your location - starting at $530.00 plus GST for 3 hours plus $35.00 per hour travel charges plus $0.50 per kilometer

Community Support Team Training

An in-depth five-day training course for staff identified within a community or organization as the designated sexual health support person or team. This course will ensure that the designated person or team knows about sexual health, has a comfort level with the topic, can deal with common issues that arise and knows some of the current resources available to help. This course is not designed to teach how to facilitate a sexual health group, rather it is intended for skilled practitioners to be your "front-line" staff to be there when the unexpected happens and to help your organization deal with sexual health in a proactive rather than a reactive manner.

Some of the topics we will cover include:

• role of the designated person
• logistics of that role
• current organizational policy and how it will affect/inform your role
• confidentiality
• documentation
• reporting

10% discount for groups of 3 or more from the same organization
